- Click the Settings button in the top right corner of the desktop client.
- Click on the Recording tab on the left-hand side of the settings page.
- Under the Video section, you can choose between the given options for Quality (resolution) and FPS.
Quality: This is the maximum vertical resolution of the output video. For example, if you select 1080p but your monitor has a resolution of 1280x720, then we will only record a video with a resolution of 1280x720. On the other hand, if your monitor is in 4k then we will scale down the video to a height of 1080 pixels. We will maintain the appropriate aspect ratio.
FPS: This is the maximum frames per second our recorded will let through to the output video. If any frame takes longer than expected to output, then your final video will have less frames than displayed here.
