If you find that SquadOV is recording a lot of background noise, you can try using SquadOV's built in noise reduction capabilities. Alternatively, you can look into setting up something like NVIDIA RTX Voice instead.
- Click the Settings button in the top right corner of the desktop client.
- Click on the Recording tab on the left-hand side of the settings page.
- Under the Input Devices section, ensure that all the devices you selected and want to apply noise reduction to have the Voice checkbox turned on.
- Turn on Use Basic Noise Volume Threshold [Voice] and modify the minimum volume threshold needed to record audio (this might require trial and error currently).
- Turn on Use Advanced Speech Noise Reduction [Voice]. This uses machine learning to determine what is and isn't speech. This may increase the CPU load on your machine.
