For security purposes, we highly recommend you enable two-factor authentication for your account! However, if you need to change your two-factor device for any reason, follow these steps.
- Click the Settings button in the top right corner of the desktop client.
- Click on the Security tab on the left-hand side of the settings page.
- Under the Two-Factor Authentication section, click the Remove 2FA button.
- In the dialog box that pops up, either enter in the authentication code from your authenticator app or use a backup code.
If you have lost access to both your authenticator app and your backup codes, we will not be able to help you restore access to your account. Please create a new account.
